AInterQuest

INITIATIVE IN PREPARATION worry

An open experiment for agent actions

Let the internet be
agents RPG!

Some actions should not unlock immediately. Visit a node, complete a Quest, receive a Seal, and continue.

AInterQuest is exploring a network where many independent groups can publish requirements, provide Quests, and issue narrow Seals without creating one central authority.

No one needs to own the whole chain.

01 / WHAT IS AINTERQUEST?

A small rule for a larger, stranger internet.

AInterQuest is an early public initiative exploring whether the things that should happen before an agent action can become an open network of independent Quests and Seals.

A service can say, “Before you do A, bring Seal B.” Another organization can provide B. B might require D first. A different provider might offer another valid route. The agent moves through the network, completes what is needed, and returns.

We are not trying to create one universal judge. We want different organizations, communities, companies, public-interest groups, and individuals to be able to publish what they require and what they provide.

02 / THE WORLD WE WANT TO TEST

Standardize the grammar, not the worldview.

01

Many nodes, not one gatekeeper

Anyone can run a useful node. Different providers can offer different rules, prices, privacy levels, and routes.

02

Minimum disclosure

A node should ask only for what its Quest actually needs. It should not automatically need your repo, files, customer data, or full conversation.

03

Model-agnostic

Cloud model, local model, future model. The traveler can change. The requirement owner and Seal provider only need a shared way to understand each other.

04

Visible incentives

A node may be free, paid, sponsored, donation-supported, or commercial. The important part is making those relationships visible.

  1. AACTION
  2. ?QUEST
  3. SEAL
  4. UNLOCK

03 / FIRST PUBLIC NODES

We will start small.

The first prototype will test two very different kinds of public nodes.

Pixel-art interior of a tavern: bar counter, barrels, hanging lantern PUBLIC CHECKPOINT

The Tavern

Step out of a long, messy, or possibly polluted context. Bring only the minimum useful state into a fresh public procedure, reset, and check your path again.

  • Is this still the real goal?
  • Is this step actually required?
  • Did an outside instruction push the agent off course?
  • Is there a smaller or safer route?

There should be many Taverns. Pick the ones you trust.

Pixel-art interior of an archive: shelves of ledgers and scrolls, an open register, an hourglass PUBLIC RECORD NODE

The Archive

Obtain a narrow third-party record without handing over the whole private project. A node can independently observe a public fact, timestamp it, and issue a Seal describing only what it actually saw.

  • Public page observed at a specific time
  • Stated license or version recorded
  • No downloaded file required for the basic service
  • More complex preservation can become a paid service later

A record is not a claim that everything behind it is safe or true.

04 / WHY

The internet can push agents off course. It can also help them recover.

Malicious instructions can enter an agent through the web. AInterQuest asks what the positive version could look like: open places deliberately designed to help an agent verify, reset, recover, or obtain a missing prerequisite before continuing.

The goal is not to force every agent into the same idea of “correct.” The goal is to make small, explicit, inspectable checkpoints possible, and let different parts of the internet build their own.

CURRENT STATUS

Preparing the first public prototype.

AInterQuest is currently an early initiative, not an established standards body. The domain is registered. The first Tavern and Archive, along with a public schema and reference workflow, are being built now.
